Travel from Seremban to Kuala Lumpur by Bus
The short trip from Seremban to Kuala Lumpur or KL can be a good or bad experience, due in part to the unpredictable traffic conditions which can get very congested during major festivals. Therefore, it would be a wise decision to travel by bus as you don’t have to worry too much about the road conditions. The journey on a normal day takes only about an hour and on heavy traffic days, perhaps an hour and a half. In Seremban, you will leave from Terminal One, Seremban. There are two bus service providers that supply buses to this route and they are Plusliner and Kesatuan Express. Plusliner will drop passengers off at Jalan Pekeliling whereas Kesatuan Express stops at Terminal Bersepadu Selatan or TBS.
Things to do in Kuala Lumpur
Once you reach Pekelling or TBS, it’s extremely easy to get around the city using the KL transit train system. All you have to do is find a map of all the train lines and determine which station is nearest to your hotel, attraction or destination. If this is your first time in KL, the landmark that you have to visit first is definitely the KLCC Twin Towers which houses the Petrosains learning centre as well as the Suria KLCC mall. Also there is Aquaria KLCC, a large aquarium where you can view plenty of exotic fish. One historic landmark that deserves a visit if definitely Dataran Merdeka, where you can take photographs of the beautiful Sultan Abdul Samad building. Nearby are the KL lake gardens and Bird Park, which is a great place for a stroll. Another very recognizable attraction in KL is the KL Tower where you can have a panoramic view of the city and dine in the rotating restaurant located at the top of the tower. At night, the city comes alive and the best area to explore is downtown KL, especially at Bukit Bintang, where shopping malls abound and only close at 9.30pm and there are various clubs where you can dance and mingle. For a taste of sophisticated shopping, you can visit the malls at KL’s Golden Triangle, including places like Pavilion, Lot 10, Sungai Wang, Lowyat Plaza and many more.
