Bahau is situated within the district of Jempol, Negeri Sembilan. Its name means “Horse mouth” in the Cantonese dialect. Historically, Bahau was a rubber, timber and palm oil-producing town when Chinese settlers stepped foot in the city, thus significantly contributing to its economic growth.
Hutan Lipur De Bana is often used for National Service camps. The jungle has many hilly terrains and stands at approximately 200m above water level. It is also open to the public with activities such as jungle trekking to a cascading waterfall, camping and more.
