In the past, the fort was destroyed and rebuilt countless times due to war. Today, the fort still remains, watching over the Kedah River. A white timber house stands in the centre of the fort, surrounded by thick brick walls and cannons.
Kedah Paddy Museum :This museum was built in dedication to the crop that makes Kedah the important state it is. It describes the process of cultivating rice, the variety, equipment and tools used over the years and across different countries.
