Several buses like the Transnasional, Perdana Express and Cepat Ekspress travel from Kuala Terengganu to Kota Bharu that is about 160km apart. It takes about 2 to 4 hours to go there depending on the traffic conditions. All these buses depart mainly from Hentian Bus MPKT while Transnasional also departs from other pick-up points as well. They all however stop at the Kota Bharu Bus Station while Cepat Express stops at Tesco Kota Bharu. The buses start from 1.30am right up to 10.30pm.
